It brings to mind “The Phantom Tollbooth” or “A Wrinkle in Time”, two of my favourite childhood books.
I was enjoying the abstract pattern so much ( the gradation of warm tones, the gentle rhythmic movement etc) I had to pull myself together to find the face!
