  1. Always happy when Wednesday comes around again 🙂

BTW. “Portrait Of A Girl And Her Art” arrived the other day – it’s such a beautiful book Elena. It must have been such a wonderful project to complete.

My girls (12 and 8) love it and are plenty inspired!

    1. I’m THRILLED that the girls like the book! Thank you so much not only for ordering, but for the feedback. Yes, it was a pleasure to put together. I hope the girls post some of their work! Nothing better than a new generation of creative thinkers/artists:) Thank you.

      1. Oh it’s called Neverwhere, by Niel Gaiman. Lots of strange and shady characters I”ve grown to love as I read it again…lol Coraline is another favorite of mine by him as well, for the dark imagery.

  2. Your water colour work always fascinates me. This one is both beautiful, mysterious and lively at the same time. The figures really seem engaged in their study – and entangled in each other. And then what fascinating characters. From a different world? From another dimension? From another time?

  3. This is gorgeous, such yummy colors! Fun image of intense meeting. I imagine the lecture is about taking care of a long nose during the winter months so it does not turn into a branch.

  4. Wow, I love it! I really love these colors, I don’t know if you’ve often used a similar palette, or maybe more purple recently (which I shall never complain about) but whatever it is the quality of the colors is amazing. Maybe very fancy paints? It does seem like an adventure or mystery or secret meeting. Many possibilities! Wonderfully strange characters too. 🙂

  5. A wizard, pachydermatous helpers, a map (Time Bandits)…an adventure, dear Elena, is coalescing.
