This Watercolor Wednesday literally features my watercolor palette. It’s a photo of the palette with a little digital enhancement. There’s a little magic in those tubes.

Wow, Great face expressions & story…
Oh wow..that is so surreal! I thought of Alice and the caterpillar!
I’ve though about doing this with my pallet forever! Great idea! Did you notice the figures before you digitally enhanced this?
Yes, there’s very little digital work. Thanks Cassidy!
Speaks a lot of meaning.
A bit of Greek mythology – mythical creature part fish, part deer, wonderment in the eyes of the child – can’t take my eyes off your colors.
Mythology for sure. Thank you!
This is super cool! It’s amazing how much energy is captured in those swirls of paint. Nice idea!
Thanks very much Nancy!
It’s true, there’s a little magic in those tubes. But it needs the vision of an artist to find it. Thanks for showing it to us.
Many thanks Marcelo:)
Wow …. now that rocks Elena 🙂
Wow, Elena! I love this! Just stunning in every way!
Thank you Lemony!
This really is beautiful! For some reason when I look at it it makes me think of the Caterpillar in Alice and Wonderland. Maybe it’s the smokey aesthetic and bright colour makes me think of this, the ‘orange mermaid goldfish dragon’ looks ‘wise’ to me. I love the fact that everyone is seeing different things in this!
Thank you very much Kara! It sort of just, well happened, and I photoshopped a little here and there. I see the caterpillar too;)
Wow! This looks GREAT!!!
I really, really, really looks great!!! 😉
Thats hot! Frame it and put a price tag on it.
Ok Hansi, perhaps I will!
A deerdragonfish, one can never have too many in the world…
I feel the same way:)
Lovely! So magical – those textures are silky, love the creatures suggested but not overworked.
Many thanks Anna!
This is outstanding Elena!! You create magic with those watercolors!
VEry much appreciated Uday!

Thank you Jill:)
Really neat! The super vivid color and contrast is terrific.
It is clear that your paints know instinctively what you want them to do!!
They have little minds of their own;)
Thats so light and beautiful!
wow! it’s great. The marvellous colors. I see a sort of centaur on the right. The dream and the colors remind me Chagall. Bravo. You are very talented. 🙂
Magical, Elena… I see a seahorse myself!

It’s like magical dream clouds 🙂 Beautiful piece.
Thanks much Allyson Marie:)
Unique and amazing. I see a newly hatched bird – legs/feet, head and body. Great use of complement color for a break.
This one pretty much “happened” mostly by itself Mary. Thank you!
Wow. Wow. Wow! The texture is so fine it almost looks airbrushed. I seriously like this one… plus orange mermaid goldfish dragons don’t appear enough in modern art 😉
I quite agree about the lack of organge mermaid goldfish dragons! Thanks much John:)
