This Watercolor Wednesday literally features my watercolor palette.  It’s a photo of the palette with a little digital enhancement. There’s a little magic in those tubes.

My world is a wonder of visual candy and foreboding shadow shapes vying every waking moment for my full attention.

  1. A bit of Greek mythology – mythical creature part fish, part deer, wonderment in the eyes of the child – can’t take my eyes off your colors.

  2. This really is beautiful! For some reason when I look at it it makes me think of the Caterpillar in Alice and Wonderland. Maybe it’s the smokey aesthetic and bright colour makes me think of this, the ‘orange mermaid goldfish dragon’ looks ‘wise’ to me. I love the fact that everyone is seeing different things in this!

  3. wow! it’s great. The marvellous colors. I see a sort of centaur on the right. The dream and the colors remind me Chagall. Bravo. You are very talented. 🙂

  4. Fantastic! I love the faces who appears if I just take a look for one moment… The colours are wonderful too!

  5. Magical and fabulous, Elena! I love how you mix different techniques into traditional aquarelle painting. Refreshing and inspiring.

  6. Unique and amazing. I see a newly hatched bird – legs/feet, head and body. Great use of complement color for a break.

  7. Wow. Wow. Wow! The texture is so fine it almost looks airbrushed. I seriously like this one… plus orange mermaid goldfish dragons don’t appear enough in modern art 😉
