How nice swim in water tortoise! Very beautiful painting. Thank you so much for sharing, dear Elena!
I hope you have a wonderful day! Big hugs, much love, Stefania! 🙂
Watched an aquatic turtle dig himself deep into the sand at the Aquarium at Discovery World where I work. Typically, all I see is his nose & head sticking out, but he had just been fed and swam up to grab a bite. His front flippers are so powerful, they can pull him under the sand where he wriggles until there’s nothing visible of his shell at all! Fascinating creature!
I love this little guy! Another swamp creature?
Yes indeed Jill -thanks!
It’s such a lively tortoise. You can really feel it’s desire to move forward. I love the colour combination.
Thanks Otto!

A few terse, rapid brushstrokes and the little creature comes to life.
