  1. Wow, this is extremely intense and feels like she needs protecting invaded..incredible Elena.

  2. I love the translucent white. This really is a powerful image. That’s incredibly hard to achieve using white! I think that is the striking aspect of the image. Great work here! 🙂

  3. When we’re able to look beyond the veil we see that which challenges and changes all our former perceptions, therein; for sure there is great alchemy in your work Elena.

Perhaps that’s because you’re already a master amongst your peers or a master in the making, either way I suspect you have much work to do bridging the gaps between many divides. So and whilst in that pursuit, I wish for you a steady hand, an open heart and the vision to see past whilst yet capturing that which is beyond mosts gaze or preoccupations.

Very big thank you for sharing your glorious works, sincere regards, Barry

  4. That is exactly what I thought too! The title of the painting says it so well.
Can you imagine Elena if we all took a good look at that painting and we all felt that feeling of being suppressed..choked almost…and realize that we do that to ourselves a lot of times, with our fears , our doubts, our self imposing limitations…..we wouldn’t want that! It’s great!!! because it made me feel what you wanted to show 🙂

  5. Dear Elena, this is an exceptional painting! Full of mystery, charm and femininity! Congratulations, dear Elena and thank you very much for sharing with us.
Have a sublime week, dear Elena! Big hugs, Stefania! 🙂

  6. ….it’s like she’s lost within a web of emotion and literally drowning…but whether in water or smoke, I’m not sure….and it’s almost as if you painted the moment she lost her soul….very beautiful. I would add this painting on my wall.
