  1. An enchanting little bird…

  2. Such lovely shapes…

  3. Just stretchin’ my wings.

  4. This is a great shot, Elena! They are such lovely birds. We have Juncos here, too. In fact we found one dead in the yard when the kids were little and we had to bury it! They made a marker for it and everything!

  5. Incredibly beautiful!. I love the softness of the greys and the sharp focus of the moving wings. Well done!

  6. Such a cute bird. Very nicely captured.

  7. Great captures, Elena! I’ve never heard of Juncos before; must look them up.

  8. Ufff…. Unas Fotografias Impresionantes… Me Gustan Mucho. Un Saludo.

Have a splendid weekend, dear Elena! Hugs, Ştefania! 🙂

  13. Love the way the bird seems to be trying to balance. It looks very soft – good plumage for keeping warm in winter!

  14. Have a good weekend Elena, great picture and amazing dance in your favour not wonder why…

  15. Hehe….she’s either posing or dancing! 🙂

  16. So beautiful and cute…Love the Little bird and the light you got!!!
    Have a great weekend Elena!!!

  17. I’m not familiar with the bird but the subdued tones of the background harmonize beautifully with its soft plumage.

  18. The wintry landscape in the background and the warmth and aliveness of the bird. You’ve brought a smile to my face on this January morning.

  19. Such sweet little juncos. These photographs make it look windy, but perhaps it’s just the movement of the bird itself.

  20. Just adorable!

  21. I like the beautiful tone captured here.
= All in gray but this is not B/W photo !

  22. Cute – very well captured… 🙂

  23. Cleaning her wings, looks like a flycatcher. Beautiful shot.

  24. What a little precious!

  25. Like a little angel… so beautiful dear Elena, Thank you. Have a nice day and weekend, love, nia

So beautiful and tender, brings a song to the heart!

  27. Junkos (i think it is though maybe it’s not black enough) I love this shade of gray on the birds and the mushing into the contrast fascinates me for some reason. Someone pointed out that I have a thing for lines and edges, veils.
