Great shot. For me it looks like the geese are saying to the turtle. «Who do you think you are? This is our raft, it’s not big enough for all three of us.» I don’t think the turtle is going to yield, though.
Maybe they are playing a game where they pretend they are trapped on an iceberg! Although, that would mean they need to know what an iceberg is. Hmm. Very cute, either way!
The geese are clearly not speaking to each other. I think the turtle is acting as a marriege guidance counsellor. He would like them to become friends again quickly – he is getting a stiff neck!!
Nice picture, it looks real… The face off, who will get who turtle or geese, reminds of Summer, big golden and Chilly, one pound chinchilla, Chilly scares Summer
What a unique shot. They’re beautiful. The geese in my area can be pretty intimidating…lol So unafraid, but one of the things which makes them special.
So lovely 🙂
Wow. excellent. 🙂
awesome shot
Thanks!
whimsical & just plain cute!
Thank you:)
Nature’s harmony beautifully captured…lovely Elena. Xx
Thanks so much Jane:)
this is super cool 🙂
Thank you Joshi!
How cool you found the turtle at the same time! 🙂
It’s funny-the wraft was full of turtles till the weight of the geese sent the turtles sliding into the water. One little guy hung on:)
That makes it even better! How funny! He was the tough turtle. He’s pretty brave hanging out with the geese.
Very beautiful ducks and turtle! How beautiful, flounders, sea!
Have a wonderful day, dear Elena! Big hugs, Stefania! 🙂
Thanks much Stefania!
Belle photo, simple, mais représentrarice de la vie et de ses beautés 🙂
Thank you Lora!
Great photo, Elena.
Thanks Jill
It would not surprise me if the ark of Noah appeared in this marvellous swamp. ☺
Me either Marcelo! There’s something noteworthy happening every second.
Great shot. For me it looks like the geese are saying to the turtle. «Who do you think you are? This is our raft, it’s not big enough for all three of us.» I don’t think the turtle is going to yield, though.
I think you’ve got it Otto! Thank you.
Great title for the scene; love it 🙂
Thank you:)
I don’t know how you get these creatures to hold a pose for you! 😉 These are Canada Geese, aren’t they?
I believe that they are. It was more me, holding the pose-they only held still for this shot:)
Maybe they are playing a game where they pretend they are trapped on an iceberg! Although, that would mean they need to know what an iceberg is. Hmm. Very cute, either way!
Thanks Cindy:)
Sharing the little “raft”. That’s very cute! : )
The geese don’t share so well however;)
The geese are clearly not speaking to each other. I think the turtle is acting as a marriege guidance counsellor. He would like them to become friends again quickly – he is getting a stiff neck!!
Poor little turtle sure did. Can you imagine being in the middle of a goose spat? I’m not that brave:)
Appears to be a sketch from a Japanese game show 🙂
I’m not familiar, but I’ll take your word for it John. Thanks:)
So adorable…as if the little turtle is looking up in awe! Wonderful capture!
He was either awed or frightened:) Thank you Robin!
What a great trio they make. Nice capture, Elena!
Thank you Richard!

🙂 A face off indeed:) Thanks Terry!
What a unique shot. They’re beautiful. The geese in my area can be pretty intimidating…lol So unafraid, but one of the things which makes them special.
I agree Allyson Marie. The geese kept dipping the turtles as they shifted their weight, but one little turtle hung on:)
Beautyful shot!!! 🙂
Thank you Eva!
You´re welcome dear Elena!!! 🙂
i like the juxtaposition of the geese and turtle!
They were a lot of fun to watch:)
Swimming companions…”it’s a race to the raft!” splash and giggle… 🙂
The turtles seemed to be in awe of/wary of the geese, but the geese really didn’t care:)
It’s quite witty 🙂
I like it.
Thanks Yoshi:)
that is one adorable turtle! and….life is truly still. very nice.
Thank you!
