This Watercolor Wednesday literally features my watercolor palette. It’s a photo of the palette with a little digital enhancement. There’s a little magic in those tubes.
This really is beautiful! For some reason when I look at it it makes me think of the Caterpillar in Alice and Wonderland. Maybe it’s the smokey aesthetic and bright colour makes me think of this, the ‘orange mermaid goldfish dragon’ looks ‘wise’ to me. I love the fact that everyone is seeing different things in this!
wow! it’s great. The marvellous colors. I see a sort of centaur on the right. The dream and the colors remind me Chagall. Bravo. You are very talented. 🙂
Wow. Wow. Wow! The texture is so fine it almost looks airbrushed. I seriously like this one… plus orange mermaid goldfish dragons don’t appear enough in modern art 😉
Wow, Great face expressions & story…
Thank you!
Oh wow..that is so surreal! I thought of Alice and the caterpillar!
Me too:)
I’ve though about doing this with my pallet forever! Great idea! Did you notice the figures before you digitally enhanced this?
Yes, there’s very little digital work. Thanks Cassidy!
Speaks a lot of meaning.
Thank you
A bit of Greek mythology – mythical creature part fish, part deer, wonderment in the eyes of the child – can’t take my eyes off your colors.
Mythology for sure. Thank you!
This is super cool! It’s amazing how much energy is captured in those swirls of paint. Nice idea!
Thanks very much Nancy!
It’s true, there’s a little magic in those tubes. But it needs the vision of an artist to find it. Thanks for showing it to us.
Many thanks Marcelo:)
